I’m Helen, an award-winning British portrait photographer based in Geneva. I create timeless, soulful portraits for women, mothers, families, newborns, children and professionals who want to be seen at their very best.
I love to stop time for people.
Through soft, flattering light, thoughtful styling and calm, gentle direction, I create photographs that feel natural, elegant and deeply personal—portraits that allow you to relax, feel seen, and leave with images you will want to live with for years.
The work
I photograph the chapters that change us: maternity, newborn days, motherhood, family life and childhood. I also create refined headshots, personal-brand photography and fine-art portraits for people who want their photographs to feel confident, credible and unmistakably like them.
Before moving to Switzerland, I photographed editorial fashion and portraits in London and Milan. More than three decades later, with two grown-up daughters and my home studio in Chêne-Bougeries, my work has become ever more personal.
My hand-painted backdrops—shaped by nature and classical painting—help create a soft, painterly visual language. But the most important element is always you: your character, your connection, your story, and the things that make your life yours.

I will guide you through the whole process: from what to wear and how to prepare, to where to stand, what to do with your hands, where to look, and when simply to forget the camera is there. I will make you laugh when it helps; I will slow things down when the moment calls for quiet.
You do not need to know how to pose. You only need to arrive as yourself.

My Studio
My photographic studio is located in Chêne-Bougeries, Geneva, with visitor parking available directly outside. Whenever possible, we reserve a parking space especially for our clients.
The nearest bus stop is Montagne, served by bus numbers 1, 9 and 34.
The studio is also situated beside the beautiful Seymaz river — a peaceful and unspoilt natural setting that offers a wonderful backdrop for outdoor portraits and even newborn photography.
